My name is Amanda Sims. I have wanted to be a writer since I was eight years old when I started writing poetry and short stories. I suppose, my third grade english teacher is to blame. She always encouraged me to keep writing and I would make it someday.
I am a stay at home mother of two in Georgia.Writing keeps me sane!
This is my first attempt at publication since high school. I let my everyday life come before something I am passionate about for too long and it is time that I made my dreams come true...

is of my grandmother's house when I would stay home from school, faking an illness, to watch I Love Lucy re-runs.

Why I write ...

I write because it is a need that is inside of me that builds.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I have just read the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury.

My first job ...

was as a waitress at a pizza place in New Jersey. I stayed there for six years.

My best moment ...

was my wedding day. Looking into Daniel's eyes as I walked toward him was an answer to all of my late night prayers.

My inspiration ...

is all of the people that tell me that I can not do this.

Silent Screams He just stood there watching in awe as that man walked away with his heart. A silent scream formed in the back of his throat and the bridge beneath his feet seemed to crumble.The ocean grasped at him with mouth agape and swallowed him whole and as his love floated by he drowned beneath her feet.
