I've been writing since I was 12 years old and it all began with a mechanical pencil and a college-lined 5-subject spiral notebook. I can't even read half of those smudged scribbles now! I've always had a very active imagination and it's gotten me through some challenging times. I never had a desire to attend college as my high school experience was uneventful and I saw no reason to pay for more of the same.
