I am an aspiring Novelist, and Helium has become for me a very therapeutic arena in which I may focus on my talents. I have met some wonderful people on Helium, and I hope that it continues to grow.

I am a proud granddaughter, daughter, sister, and (my favorite title) aunt. I have two beautifully, wonderful neices, that I adore, and one teriffic nephew that I have been in love with since we met. I have two younger sisters who are fun, and yes, at times I do consider them 'laughingstocks'. I have two cousins who have contributed to this site, as well as a wonderful grandmother whom I love very much.

I have many hobbies, I am in the midst of trying to teach myself Latin (which is so not easy), I have taught myself calligraphy, and I am a dreamer. I find music (of all kinds) to be a comforting gift from God that we all should enjoy. Currently I have found that I am in complete fascination with Michael Buble', and I am loving Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. But I do love country music, and am especially drawn to Tanya Tucker and the late, great Conway Twitty. I also love rock.

I am addicted to the television, and have television shows that I can not miss. 'The West Wing' (with my favorite actress EVER, Stockard Channing), 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Without a Trace', and the 'CSI's'. I am also sad to admit that I do dabble in a bit of reality TV consumption.

I have often wondered why authors write their about me pages in the third person, and toyed with the idea of doing so once. Then I decided that I just don't get it, and so I have just jotted down a few things about myself.

I am very passionate about everything that I believe in. I am stubborn, I will argue with anyone, and I am a very hard worker. I maintain that if someone writes an article for a contest, it should be in their best way. I am very competitive, and I do not enjoy losing anything that I have poured my heart and soul into to someone who could honestly care not at all about their rankings, nor consider what they write.

Just because unicorns originally spring from rainbows does not mean that they are exactly the most friendly creatures on earth. Indeed they are loving, happy, and loyal to both their owners as well as their bands, but they are quite temperamental. Having had a lilac Filly as a child named Penelope, I have decided recently that I am in the market for a pure white Mare, with a teal mane and tail.
