Currently I attend college in southern California as a conservation biology major.
Besides time spent studying, which is a sizeable chunk of my time, I enjoy camping and hiking, live theatre (both watching and participating in) and working on my other arts. I sculpt, sew, crotchet paint and make handicrafts, (in varying degrees of skill of course).I love to jump from project to project, and in all likelihood, I just have way too many hobbies. :)
Of course, I also love to read and write. Poetry and short stories are my most common pursuits, though like most of us who write, I one day hope to sit down and write something a bit longer. I love to read, my favorite genre's being fantasy and historical fiction. Some favorite authors include Terry Brooks, Terry pratchett, Neil Gaimen, Tolkien and David and Leigh Eddings. I adore the artwork of Brian and Wendy Froud.
The first peice I had published was an essay when I was very young. Many years later I have also had a couple of my poems published, starting in highschool. I joined Helium to immerse myself in a writing community, to have other heads to bounce ideas off of, and to hopefully keep myself active and creative in the writing process.

Thats very difficult to say...there are so many definitions of "best moment" Is it the moment I had the most pride in myself? A moment did something amazing for another? When someone else recognized me? Hard to say, they don't all coincide ;)
My inspiration ...
Nature
Without You No sun in the sky. The moon would not rise. Not for me. Not without you. No songs in the air. No, no happiness there. No joy sings for me, Not without you. Time would inch along, 10 years to meet one dawn. Time does not pass for me, Not without you. A wound on my heart, but a scar on my soul. Never quite the same. Not without you.
