I grew up in a very small town in Southeast Ga. After moving to Savannah, Ga, I saw that there was much to tell about. I decided to tell about it through writing.
I have taught elementary education for 14 years. My experience includes behavior disorders, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I feel I have accomplished something when the light "clicks on" with a child. I also enjoy helping my fellow teachers. I like sharing my ideas with them and brainstorming other methods to use in the classroom.
I enjoy traveling, camping, photography, reading mysteries, and writing. I just recently got into the writing thing. I always wanted to be a journalist like my dad but felt I lacked the skill. I like writing about my experiences as a parent and as a teacher. However, there are other issues that will get me to express my thoughts as well.

Kids love campfires. Provide sticks for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Kids can even make their own smores over the open fire. Make sure there is adult supervision.
If you have a pool in your backyard, why not throw a pool party for the kids? If you don't have one, then you can buy a small inflatable pool from the dollar store. Provide sprinkers, a sl...
