Hi,
I am a male,49,divorced and live near Cambridge, UK.
I want to write but have no idea where to start or even know a subject to begin my epic journey with.
I like humour immensely and would enjoy writing in that subject. It is my intention to write a comedy police story with Crime Scene Investigation a major part.
In the real world I am a CSI for the police in Cambridge and feel my experiences could be used in my future writing.
Although my work has it's obvious serious side, it has humour too. I feel I could expand and elaborate on this.
I have many hobbies, including kayaking, photography, music, guitar, reading, computers, sport, motor racing (F1), walking, etc.
A main hobby is the paranormal. I am a consultant to a paranormal group and advise on certain aspects of photography as well as advice on sites as crime scenes from times past.
I am also a granddad - making me feel very old! LOL
I hope to progress my ideas with CSI and the paranormal into the written word.
I am a Crime Scene Examiner with over 15 years experience on attending crime scenes - in particular, burglary scenes on a daily basis. During my career, I have gained knowledge and passed on advice to victims of crime when asking about home security. Given the choice between a dog or an alarm, my experience tells me a dog is more useful. I have never been to burglar scene in which there was a large dog such as an Alsatian, Rottweiler etc been present.
