I retired from 15 years in the Civil Service to start a bridal business in St. Annes, Lancashire, (UK) but I am now teaching unemployed people and helping them build confidence and get back into work. My students are all ages and all walks of life and I enjoy the interaction of my classes. I love writing and am fortunate to have had several articles published, mainly on folklore.
I have two daughters, both now married and living away from home and have been married 3 times so my life has been quite eventful but I would not change a minute of it. Hopefully, experiencing a wide range of good and bad happenings has made me more appreciative of my home, family and friends. I am fortunate to have a lovely, amusing and fascinating man who makes me feel prized and who is the least judgemental person I have ever met.
