: About Me

Hi everybody,

I am a newbie here at Helium. I am a Mom of two beautiful young successful girls. I am happily married to my best friend of 15 years. I am an artist. I love pencil sketching, oil painting and all kinds of creative art, I have worked in just about every area in the Washington, DC metro area. From government, lobby associations, private practices, recruitment agencies and a couple of work at home jobs. I have settled back as an Admin person at a great company a few blocks from my home. I love my job, it's easy, I can do it with my eyes closed most days and I have a wonderful boss who doesn't bother me unless he just has too and a nice quiet office with the latest technology all around me. I have been given a gift of something very special which has made me also an inventor.

Most that know me know I read a lot, keep myself abreast of the latest important information in the world. I am a person who enjoys having fun, laughing, living life to the fullest.

I can't wait to get writing on this forum and start to express my views and values to the world. I look forward to reading and writing and debating here. Thank you for the opportunity to allow me to be heard somewhere else in the world.

My favorite memory ...

7th birthday party was a blast! I had a new dress, ribbons in my hair, new patten leather shoes and stockings, lots of presents and a big birthday cake with blue and purple icing. I had so many friends over and it was a beautiful warm sunny day! Plus I got my first tape recorder! ;) I know I was the most envied of the girls there because they did not have one.

Why I write ...

it lets me express my feelings and thoughts in a place where they can be appreciated

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

everything. I'm an information sponge. I try to not take in the negative so much. It slows me down.

My first job ...

Burger King on the broiler! Hated it! Quit before the summer was over, but, I loved the check though!

My best moment ...

when I found out my first born sonogram was normal and all was ok with my pregnancy

Everything God Created is Self Sufficient As I thought the other day about my own life and how I could better myself and family, it came to me that all things that Father God has created are all self-sufficient. I reflected on the Garden of Eden and how he took days to create a thorough careful thought out plan; one filled with preparing, creating, evaluating and fine tuning. He wanted to make sure it was not only practical, functional but self-sufficient. He had love on his mind when he laid out the blueprint of paradise for us - it had to be unique and intelligently designed - well suite...
