: About Me

My name is Helena Stone and I live in a small town in AZ. I have two grown daughters, who I am very proud of. I am a grandmother of 2 delightful grandsons ages 6 and 2, a wife of my true love my second husband, who I met on a greyhound bus in 1989. That is a love story in its self.

I own a cleaning business and a graphics business. I paint murals during the holidays on windows for stores, restaurants,and homes for the past 15 years. I have had an acting career in community theater and in the movies. I am currently finishing my first children's book which I hope will finally be ready to publish by Publish America. It will be the first of 3 books about a blue dragon named ZEKE the beginning of next year.

I love writing and and I have found that writing for Helium has given me another outlet for my work. I have had 2 of my best poems published in the past ten years in a book and a magazine and I plan to continue with another book of just my poetry,MOMENTS IN POETRY.

So many relationships end and solid friendships begin and stay longer and sometimes stronger, it all depends on the people. Relationships are harder to maintain because of the pressures of getting it right and the expectations people put on each other. Is it easy to stay friends after a relationship? Yes I do feel it can happen. For myself I really do not do good in relationships because of the type of people I pick or sometimes pick me. I come a long line of family non lifetime commitments, I cant stay with them emotionally in a loving, lasting way but I do keep friends with ex boyfriends...
