Most importantly, I am the Mother of two boys.

I am a devoted Wife to the best Husband there is or ever will be.

I am obviously an aspiring writer.

Thirty-Five and do not feel a day over Sixty! Just kidding. Actually it amazes me just how much I can still feel like Seventeen. Especially when I am around my big brothers back home in Tennessee.

Reading has been a passion of mine since I was about 21 years old. Previously, I did not read for pleasure. I really missed out! Today, I read an average of 5 books per week and try to make them drag out as long as possible when I see I am nearing the end!

My favorite Authors vary quite a bit:
My first love was Anne Rice; I have not read her in over 10 years.
Arthur Conan Doyle: I re-read The Sherlock Holmes mysteries every couple of years.
Carolyn Hart: I love Annie and the Death On Demand series.
Anne George: I shall forever miss her writing the Southern Sister Mysterys!
Dean Koontz: He was my second love and I still love him today. His writing just keeps getting better.
Stephen King: Perhaps the best writer of the Century. His prose is hard to beat with a stick and the man really knows what he is doing. How he knew so much about being a woman in 'Geralds Game' spooks me to this day!
James Lee Burke: Meow! This is one Cowboy that is gorgeous as well as a damned good story teller. I would follow his writings anywhere he wants to take me!
Lawrence Block: His 'Burglar' series is the absolute best; Mrs. Rhodenbars son Bernie is a hoot!
Carl Hiaason: Funny, Witty and a joy to read.
Joan Hess: No Maggody, please. But Claire Malloy is a different picture entirely. Another female bookstore owner who often gets in over her head!
John Connolly: He creeps me out but at the same time I cannot turn away from this Irish writer!
OF COURSE:
THE DAME AGATHA: Carolyn Hart got me re-interested in this, the best writer of all time again. When I was a child I loved her movies and now I am having a blast reading all of her books!
