I am currently 54 and a divorced mum living with her 20 year old autistic son. Having made some stupid decisions over the last few years I have ended up living in rented premises and hating it. But wha can you do?

Being an only child, I was lucky enough to have a good relationship with both my parents and miss them both very much now that I am an orphan.

On the whole I am happy, healthy and well adjusted. my son and I muddle along fairly well together and I am trying to discipline myself to write a little every day with a view to being published in category romance.

I started writing in primary school and although I lost the urge for a while I have started again in earnest and now only lack the "bum glue" to keep me in my chair and pounding away at the keyboard.

The way he emphasized her given name showed his disdain for the shortened form she preferred. Tori bit back a reply. What did it matter to him if she felt not at all like 'Victoria' and that the only people who called her that were her parents and their country club friends.
