Born in the '60s, and a product of my parent's late '60s divorce that delivered more positive experiences than negative, I am considered a "tweener" generationally and am aligned with that philosophically.
I grew up with vinyl records, reel-to-reel tape players, 8-track tapes and cassettes, typewriters, simple games and traditional broadcast television with a few local channels.
As a youth I played the three major team sports and was often in front of large crowds for speaking, performing and hosting events. I excelled in football and drama in high school, was a class leader, school announcer, good writer and decent all-around student.
I dreamed of pursuing acting, was pulled toward the creativity of the marketing and advertising disciplines and was fascinated with parts of the medical profession.
I graduated from a well-known university in middle America with a BA in Journalism as an advertising major. My first job was with a medical advertising agency. From there I joined a marketing communications firm. After a time, I moved to a nationally-renowned brand development firm where I worked with client companies like Coca-Cola, Ford, General Mills and BMW.
I still work today as a brand marketing professional with a broad range of skills, including strategic planning, copywriting, graphic design and collateral production. And I enjoy freelance assignments
I have written articles, Web pages, brochures, ads, poems, a play and many radio and TV commercials.
I even once entered a stand-up comedy contest - and won. I retired on top. : )
I have a beautiful and talented writer for a wife and we have three great children.
Feel free to drop me a line. I enjoy good company and good sharing.

No, the demand for higher education and the seekers whom answer that demand, will feed religion and religious life, not starve it. Religion is the means to help us frame how and why we are here and what will happen to us next. If we come to know for ourselves "how" and "why" we are here, we find that religion also helps us to understand how to "be" h...
