About me - P M Mitchell

About me

I don't really like to talk about myself, and don't want to psycho-analyze it, either. I'd just rather learn about other people, places and things. I recently went through a financially and emotionally devastating divorce, which, more or less, led me to Helium. In order to rebound financially I need a second job that doesn't pay minimum wage, like working as a cashier at CVS. And my day job doesn't offer much security either. I like to think of my job as an Accounts Receivable gypsy waiting for the next batch of lay-offs after you've cleaned the corporate books. Then you get to chase after another job and do it all over again.

I don't know whether I'd be good at writing articles, but I want to give it a try. I do know one thing. My revisions skills are fabulous. I've turned some very weak pieces into masterpieces, and would be willing to help anyone who needed it. I worked briefly as a volunteer contributing editor for a classics publication at school. So I actually have some qualifications for this stuff. If you want to get in touch, email is the best way at i.proserpina@gmail.com

The proliferation of home-based franchises around the globe has led to a substantial increase in opportunities for women to own their own businesses. No longer confined to food chains and dry cleaners, the franchise market now offers a bevy of possibilities from business services to child development and tutoring. Some franchises, however, stand out prominently for their strength, stability, growth and size. Such items as their start up costs, available financing and support services for women entrepreneurs are also worth noting.
