Angie Papple has been a freelance writer all of her life, although it was only recently that the articles in her head began to escape on paper.
She is the Subchannel Site Steward for both the Military and Soldiers and Veterans subchannels and looks forward to helping Helium improve, expand, and become the premier source for information on the Internet.
Angie's works have been purchased by Cycling.com, Mommy.com, Zonder.com, The Society of Leisure Enthusiasts, Madbury WDV, and Software.com. She is also a regular contributor to and winner of Helium's contests, during which her fingernails are chewed to a bare minimum as she watches the ratings and points skyrocket and plunge.
She is the proud "Mommybear" of the beautiful and all-too-clever "Sadiebear," who inspires many of her articles.
Ms. Papple lives on the beautiful island of O'ahu, where she is stationed as a Chemical Operations Specialist in the United States Army. She returned from Iraq in October of 2007 as the recipient of a well-earned Combat Action Badge and several other decorations, and is already in the training stages for her next deployment in September of 2008.
If you have questions, concerns, ideas or comments regarding Helium or writing, especially in the Military or Soldiers and Veterans channels, please feel free to contact Angie using the "Contact this writer" feature.
My passion is ...
writing to the best of my ability.
I know too much about ...
nothing, because in my opinion, you can never know too much!
My parents always told me ...
"You need to put that book down and go to sleep!"
My childhood ambition ...
was to be a better writer than S.E. Hinton.
My favorite memory ...
is stepping off a plane on American soil after months in "the sandbox."
Why I write ...
I write because I have to - if I don't, I would bore people to tears by talking incessantly.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I read everything that I can get my hands on!
My first job ...
was as a "bus girl" at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant when I was thirteen.
My best moment ...
is any moment spent with my precious (and precocious) daughter, Sadie.
My inspiration ...
(s) are motherhood, patriotism, and the love of words.

An internet marketing specialist will tell you that you need to cough up some serious dough in order to get your Helium articles a large amount of traffic. What a liar! Internet marketing specialists do have a fair amount of knowledge about what works and what doesn't, but it's nothing you can't learn to do in the next several minutes.
Get your money-making hat and put that bad boy on. You might want to grab a Snickers bar; that should give you an idea of how long this will take. Put yourself into "shameless self-promotion" mode and justify it by knowing that you're actually doing ...
