: About Me

I love writing. I fell head over heels in love with words when I was 7 and although we've had our differences, that love remains one of the strongest driving forces of my life.

I work full-time as an assistant to the Content Management Group of Cengage Learning in Boston, Massachusetts.

I am a Catholic because I believe it is the religion that comes closest to the Truth.

I am a vegetarian (lacto ovo) because I love animals; they are God's precious creations. I enjoy too much of my own life to take someone (or something) else's (except for mosquitoes & other biting insects - that's self-defense).

I was a frequent contributor to Ficlets before AOL forced it to shut down. After the resurrection, I hope to write there again.

- for Patti Standing among white faces, somehow I found it inside of me to smile outside even though I'm the only black girl in town. Say I'm ugly tell me you don't like my kinky Afro hair or rich chocolate skin. Tell me I smell bad because my kind don't bathe right. I must be funny good at sports lazy in schoolwork. Highest marks in the class but they say I must have copied from some white boy or signed a Devil contract.
