About me - Lyla O'mara

About me

I'm the mother of four children, and I've been married for 9 years. I live in South Florida, three miles from the Atlantic coastline. I am also a real estate sales associate, and an aspiring entrepenuer. I love to throw full scale parties. Generally, I try not to do the same thing twice. I like to change it up, I get bored easily.

I consider myself a realist idealist, which may sound like a contradiction. By this I mean that, despite the harsh realities of life, I truly believe that ideal circumstances can be attained through a positive thought process, and a sprinkle of dreams.

This is my first experience in writing, besides highschool. I look forward to sharpening up my pencil, and reading your stuff. Have it Good!

My husband and I had just retired ourselves, as the cool sheets wrapped around me and my back settled into relaxation, my mind was free to reflect on the events of the day. My Grandfather had been admitted into hospice, I was told that this is what he wants. He is letting go. Earlier that day, when I received the phone call I was too busy for it to really sink in. The thought that I would never see Grandpa again was actually far from my mind, even though he was very ill with cancer....
