Thank you for honoring me by reading my bio.
I am 59 years old, born April 18, 1952, 0945 hours in a small town in Northeast Arkansas. I am an Aries female, ascending sign Cancer. ...Now, you can figure out more about me than most people know... Welcome to my world!
I love to be surrounded by family, music, good books, good food, and my dog, Smokey. I can also be found contemplating life, wondering about the past, present, and the hereafter. I am concerned that I'll go through life without making enough ripples in the water.
Contention is not my style; I love peacefulness. However, for goodness sake, please don't push me too far or hurt one of mine. In such cases, this Aries ram's horns can be quite effective in defending myself and those I love.
I love to laugh, I love sharing a drive along a country road, and I love watching a rainbow leap from Little Red. I love reading a book to a child and getting slobbery kisses from my grandbaby...I love life. ...I love being here and I intend to stay for a very long time.
As you will notice, I write from the depths of and sometimes corners of my heart. Hopefully, I do so with a pinch of humor, a dab of regret, 1 cup of "did," 3 cups of "should have," and 2 quarts of "good intentions."
May you learn from my mistakes, cringe as I endure my aches and pains, cry with my spiritual and emotional wins and losses, find courage through my disappointments, and every once in a while may you enjoy a romantic fantasy with tongue-tied dialog and downcast gaze of shyness...every girl's dream of finding her knight in shining armor.
Well, all rightey then! Let's get going! Hey, I'll race you to the corner!

Forgiving Life Have I learned from my past? What will I carry into my future? Instead of feeling guilt because I am still alive, I embrace the fact that I am. Harboring anger for past pain inflicted upon me fades and I am strong because of it. Tears of frustration are replaced by rediscovery of laughter. Fear is replaced by anticipated happiness. Reunion replaces years of estrangement from family. The sorrow of distance gives way and is gone. Were it not for having been made a spectacle, I could not have empathy.
