If you are a parent of a new baby, the idea of traveling with your baby might seem overwhelming, but it can be done! We took our two-month year old daughter on a three-hour car ride to her first Thanksgiving last year. We also took her camping at six months. Both experiences ended up a lot less painful than we feared. If your child sleeps well in the car seat, you might consider traveling at night.
