I once wrote an article called "The Bio Thing" where I courageously said what I'm sure others would like to say, but dare not. If there is a place for this article on helium someday I will submit it. Writing self biographies is futile, as one usually over sells or under sells, but rarely is there an honest soul who just says it like it is. I'm not even sure I'm that soul, but since you have been kind enough to invite me, here goes...
I am a 52 year old woman with a slow metabolism. I like to write, play the piano and write short choruses for church. One of my newest loves is faux painting, collage, and other forms of art that I do on my walls while Curt, my husband, grimaces in the next room. I have actually been invited to do this in other places.
Writing short articles is something I started doing in 2000. I grew a readership of about 70 people around the globe, however, I understand that my audience was larger due to these captive readers passing them on. Some of them read them to groups of people, I was told. Most of my writing has been of a spiritual nature, however I would like to branch out a bit. Most of my material has a touch of humor and has been gathered from life experience, both wonderful and excruciatingly painful.
I have been married for 34 years, (we think it's going to work out), successfully raised two children and enjoy being a grandmother.
