Ask me what I know about the Three Stooges and I can launch into some stories, including the fact that when I was nine, my parents didn't allow us to watch them-too violent!
I am a semi-retired teacher in Northern California who has begun writing for a number of sites besides Helium. I like writing for Helium and generally write at least one article per day, but I have been known to write as many as four in one day.
I taught history and other social sciences. I read mostly non-fiction, once in a while throwing in a Louis L'Amour just for light reading. I also read a number of magazines on a regular basis.
Since I was really young, I have followed Presidential elections, and this year is know different. If I had better teeth and better hair, I might qualify as a pundit.
I went to college in San Francisco, perhaps to pursue a career as a mild mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper. However, I found out that the job was already taken, so I moved on.
In about six weeks, I will be married, yes, late in life. Some of my high school friends have grandkids now. That's all folks. Good reading and writing.
