: About Me

I am first and foremost a mom and grandmother of six. As a professional photographer I have had the opportunity to travel the world photographing incredibly interesting people and places. A few weeks ago I went to the theater and ran into some old friends. Asking this person how life is going, she replied, "Don't you find that life is just one big rut?" I automatically began to agree and then suddenly caught myself.
"No! I actually find life is anything but!" I truly believe that life is what you make it.

I have been an avid journal keeper since the 4th grade and enjoy teaching classes on the subject. I love to spend time with my family, cook, read, play the piano and hope someday to add writing to my list of accomplishments.

At least there is one thing that most of us can agree upon. We are living in difficult times. The state of the economy has really hit home and many of us are questioning what lies ahead. If my mother-in-law, Mom Wolsey, was ruling the world, we would not find ourselves in this quandary. No, she does not have advanced degrees in economics from Harvard, Princeton or Yale.
