I am an English teacher turned stay-at-home mom to a beautiful little boy. I have always enjoyed writing and have always played around with the idea of writing professionally, but have never known how to get started. Helium has been the perfect "jumping-off" point for me. When I am not taking care of my son, I am either reading or writing, neither of which I am able to do nearly as much as I would like.
