I'm a technical writer and manufacturing consultant within the pharmaceutical industry by day. I'm based in UK, but spend some of my time overseas. I have a number of textbooks, management reports and articles published. I am also editor of a technical journal.
I have been writing since I was very young. When I was a teenager, essays and poetry helped me to win my first overseas trip via a newspaper competition.
I have returned to creative and article writing in the past few years and would like to develop my skills so I can travel less and write more. I'm practicing like mad and using peer review websites like Helium to hone my skills. So far I've sold two articles and had some good scores on many of the others.
My score for short stories so far is: one competition win; one highly commended; and one published in an anthology. I have also won a poetry competition.
I have recently set up my own website to showcase my travel and creative writing.
