About me - Richard Ballard

About me

I was born in Switzerland on December 3, 1986. I grew up there until the age of ten, attending the International School of Geneva for five years, before moving to my home country of Panama.

I lived in Panama until the age of 18 at which point, after graduation, I traveled to Canada for my University education. I am still there.

I am Roman Catholic, and an ardent centralist Constitutional Monarchist with some socialist tendencies. I despise Republicanism, racism, and tyranny.

I am a third-year History Major and Political Science Minor. I intend to achieve a graduate degree in Education as well.

I love reading, classical-epic music, writing, and, on the occasion, drawing. I despise rap and plena music for their outright vulgarity and anti-establishment sentiment.

I am firmly heterosexual, but in favour of homosexual equal rights.

In other places, kings became kings through conquest, or acclamation from the ruling and warrior classes. Eventually, kings professed to be chosen through divine intercession; that God had chosen them, as it were, and that thus their authority and wisdom over all things was indisputable. Monarchic rule was unmatched and unchallenged; kings and queens could sentence a man to death at a whim. By the ...
