: About Me

Well, I've been a member with Helium for a year now; visiting, reading other's articles but not submitting my own until now, which means I will have to update my bio before the month is over.

I was born and raised in Northern California, the eldest of eight children: four boys, four girls. Dad worked for the railroad and mom (obviously) worked full time too. Aside from being mom, she managed to find time for creative outlets like cake decorating and crafts for compensation.

I am the father of one beloved son and husband to my dear wife, who still puts up with me, seventeen years so far. It's been a roller coaster ride for her. She's not particularly fond of roller coasters. I should have pursued the risk of business ownership while I was single, but here is a trial we've managed to survive.

Life is indeed what you make of it. Prosperity and happiness are the result of good decisions made over time. Luck is where opportunity meets preparedness, and discipline is good for everything.
