About me

Words and I have had a long romance, going back as far as I can remember. Writing is something that has given me pleasure and intellectual stimulation for years now, and I look forward to honing and fine-tuning my skills here, thanks to the helpful rating system and feedback from other writers.

The opportunity to be published is very appealing to me, regardless of the fact that writing has always been a secret love, nothing that I've pursued professionally. What if nothing I write is ever rated highly, chosen for publication of some kind, or applauded as a great work? That's simply my motivation to improve what I do, to read more and more articles written by others, and honestly, it's secondary to the pleasure I get from writing.

Where do I find motivation and inspiration now? Life is full of experiences, and if I live to be 100 I know there will be things that I still haven't learned. We can only take what we do know, and do all we can to learn all we can about our passions.

My life as a stay at home mother of four fills my days with ideas for articles and stories and testimonies, and pushes me to make myself more knowledgable about just about everything so that I may pass on what I know to my children.

The second half is weather and sports, a safe area for viewers in all age groups. Depending on your child's age, you may want to avoid the news until your child is asleep. Does my four year old need to hear how a p...
