Born in MAdagascar from a French family, I have traveled most of my life,luckily I was able to visit a lot of the world or live in many countries.From Europe to Thailand, Hawaii, Tahiti,many African countries and south America, the few missed are Australia, mainland China and most of the colder countries as Eastern Europe, and quite a few Middle eastern countries.
I have yet to explore some cultures, what a joy!
My work as a consultant for the hospitality business for the past 25 years has also helped me discover and love the world we live in, my knowledge of a few languages enables me to understand different cultures better and respect them, work better with them.
My life has led me and my family to Charleston South Carolina where I am based and travel from.

As a traveler who loves to explore a country without restraints I would definitely prefer to visit Japan.

I would however exclude Hong Kong from China, as it has been influenced by the West for many years and is a delight to visit.
Although China has a fascinating history, culture and many wonderful sites,I still have difficulties being followed or told where to go and what to see.
