About me - Tamerea Fritz

About me

I breed and train standardbred horses for racing and pleasure. I own and work with my husband a farm on the outskirts of Toowoomba QLD, Australia.

We are currently in the worst drought known in recent history. But like all those around us, we are making do with what we have and looking to the future.

I have experience in training and riding pleasure horses as well as racehorses. I feel that every horse should be trained to do more than one thing. I also when asked fill in at the local Pony clubs as an instructor.

I own a number of working dogs and some pets, we work the cows and horses, and they as friends keep me company.

Due to the drought I have had to take a job off farm to work full time. I currently am working for a large financial services company in their insurance claims section currently.

I am an avid reader, and love nothing more than to learn about new things, and to teach others also. I love my country and everything about it. I feel that I am very lucky to be in a country with so many wonderful and unique animals and plants.

Whilst I still could not even sew a button on a shirt. I got annoyed with spending $25 dollars an item to have them hemmed, and buttons sewn back on, got irritated with spending that amount on patches, and jeans for my husbands work c...
