After winning two "Certificate of Excellence" awards from a literary society for my poetry, and being published in six poetic journals in US and Canada, I'm inhaling some confidence in my efforts.

I'm working on the last two chapters of a mystery novel and may post on Helium under "excerpts" at some point....to test the friendly waters here.

My novel is called "Small Town Suspects". I am most pleased because it does not contain violence (other than brief description of the body), immorality or profanity. A good old-fashioned whodunit!

I have happily sold a total of 6 articles (not reflected) on updated symbol. It is a great feeling to get an email saying a publisher is interested in purchasing your article!

Chocolate Suppers. As grandparents, my husband and I have naturally had the experience of what it was like to be a child, a parent and then a grandparent. With age comes wisdom, hindsight and a sense of what is important and not so important.

Our family tradition started innocently enough. We have seven wonderful grandchildren.
