What's there to say?...I'm a composer/songwriter living in the High Park area of Toronto, Canada. I started my working career as an architect but eventually succumbed to my first love - music. This has proven to be more of a struggle than I anticipated as the business connections to 'make it' in the music industry have not materialized as I was so certain they would. I continue to write music and songs, but I also do some writing on topics close to my heart, such as my Christian faith, and urban planning (related to my architectural background).

I came across Helium.com in September, 2007 and joined its ranks as a part of my creative efforts to supplement my income. Although I have enjoyed writing here, the income producing potential for this site has proven to be highly disappointing at best. I am especially concerned about Helium's rating system and their intent to take away future revenues from writers who do not maintain a rating star with the site. Still, it is an interesting site and I hope it sorts out its ethical problems so that it can start to grow and retain its writers.
