British born, but well traveled, I've lived/worked in the USA, Australia, Holland, Spain and Canada. I have a degree in Public Relations and started my writing career producing press releases and publicity material as part of my job.
I now write everything from fiction to feature articles and have published articles both in print and on the web. I've had short fiction published in British small press publications such as Quality Women's Fiction, Acorn Magazine, Connections and Writers' Cauldron, and last year won an award for a short story which was subsequently published in an anthology by PolarExpressions.ca.
I write travel articles for sites such as Matador.org, and Transitions Abroad and regularly write for CopiaMagazine.com.
I also blog about writing, (and changing the world) over at Change The World With Words ( http://www.changetheworldwithwords.com/) where I share writng tips and techniques, new markets and tools for creative writers, and point you in the direction of free writing ebooks and other free resources. I also host the occasional give-away. You can sign up for my free monthly newsletter that offers bonus writing tips and a featured market that is looking for (and paying for) freelance writing contributions, with a direct link to their online guidelines.
