About me

I earned my doctorate in Neuroscience in the Pharmacology Department at Northwestern University Medical School in 1985. I then received postdoctoral training at Cornell before coming to Cleveland to join Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I am currently an Associate Professor of Nutrition, Pharmacology, Neuroscience and Medicine. I have published over 100 articles in peer reviewed medical journals. I currently teach medical, dental, graduate and undergraduate students. I do laboratory research on medicines for the threatment of high blood pressure and diabetes.

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a progressive disorder that persists for life. Medications can control blood pressure very effectively.
