I write childrens' fiction, mostly, in the midwestern state of Iowa and I have a blog on aol that chronicles the exciting events at the church I attend and in my own personal walk with Jesus.
I have an AAS degree in accounting but hate working with numbers. I much prefer reading and setting stories to paper for childrens' entertainment.

Oh, mountains, definitely. Unless, of course, you like sand crawling up your swimsuit into every available crevice.
I grew up in Arizona with access to the Rocky Mountains and every time I smell pine trees, I am transported back to that wonderful place. Rocks to climb, streams and lakes to swim in, glorious sunny glades and meadows to picnic in and listening to the wind slipping through the pine boughs is about as close to heaven on earth as a person can get.
I remember camping in the Grand Canyon and being so cold that sleep was totally out of the question but watching the sun come...
