I am a 40-something mother of two and grandmother to a beautiful baby girl born 1/31/08. Since my son has graduated from high school and I have no more kids to raise, I've decided it's time for me to change a few things. One of those things is taking more time for writing and learning more about writing, maybe even a career change into that area. I'm new to writing, yet not new. I've been writing since I was a teenager, but I never took it seriously until recently. I never dreamed that I could actually use writing in my career. But here I am, over 40 and ready to make a change. Hopefully this website will be a stepping stone in the right direction.

When I saw this title, my eyebrows shot up. The fact that 56% of respondents agreed with this statement made my jaw drop.

However, when I took a second look at this title, I realized that it asks whether or not having an affair is forgivable. I don't think that's the true issue. We can forgive anyone for anything any time we want to. No act is exempt from forgiveness. It just depends upon the person who is doing the forgiving or the not forgiving as to whether or not they want to forgive. I think the title should be "A marriage can survive an affair".
