At 26 years old, I'm finding myself in need of a jump start. You see, for the past 8 years, I've been living a life dominated by money, bills, business, and a bad relationship. Somehow, I thought that's where it all ended...Somehow, I forgot who I was and where I was coming from. I devoted myself to my relationship and to my business, and I lost myself in the process.
The point is, I'm currently experiencing life as the maze that it is. I thought I had it all figured out, but in the end, I'm struggling to revert to my younger, more artistic self. I'm struggling to find some inspiration in life, some greater joy that I have, thus far, not found.
What does writing have to do with that? And what does all this have to do with writing? Aside from being a passion and talent of my earlier years, writing represents something closer to who I really am and who I want to be. It could be the beacon in the distance that will, hopefully, one day lead me home.
