I am the pastor of a small baptist church in a small town in Illinois. I also employed part time at The Home Depot and I am a stay-at-home dad. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor, a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D in New Testament Studies from the same school.
My wife and I have three sons, ranging from ages ten to sixteen.
I am interested in writing commentary about things religion, political and social issues, and spirituality. I believe my experience and background is unique.
Once I was trying hard not to overhear a conversation among teenagers when one sentence jumped out of the low rumble of voices and caught my attention. It came from the mouth of a young girl.
