I am currently finishing off a degree in journalism at East Stroudsburg University. I also am working on a minor in photography, which I hope will compliment my writing quite nicely.
I have worked on ESU's student newspaper, The Stroud Courier, for about a year and a half, and have been the Arts and Entertainment Editor for about a year. Participating in making a publication has taught me many things about how to have a successful newspaper. I have also gotten a lot of experience learning and using Adobe InDesign, the program used for newspaper layout.
Besides that, I am also involved in Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.
When I'm not working on something, I love to take pictures, listen to music, read, and go to live concerts.

Bluegrass jam band Railroad Earth returned to the Sherman Theater last Sunday night for their annual performance. They have played the venue multiple nights around Thanksgiving four years in a row now, and they don't appear to be stopping anytime soon. The band has always been welcome at the Sherman Theater.
