Debbie Hedgecock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist in private practice in Pasadena California. She specializes in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, working with people in mid-life transitions, adults suffering from early childhood trauma and coping in the workplace with ADHD. She works with chidren, families, individuals and couples. She also supervises graduate students in training and mentors therapists who are building a private practice. She is a freelance writer.

FEARLESS LOVE

Bad love,good love, what does it take
To heal this savage trembling wake?
My heart is worn and bruised and tired
From bad love's savage wounds inspired
To trust the flowering bloom of Love
That heals the past and makes us whole.

Alas! My heart must take this leap!
Where fools rush in and angels weep
To grasp the gauntlet for the fight
For what is true and what is right.

What will it take to ease the plight
Of this fragile, trembling heart tonight?
Please open heart and soothe these fears
Of lovers lost and lovers feared.
And with this new love all wounds b...
