There are 3 common factors that consistently plague the worst teams in the league. The first is the lack of a quality running back to help open up the offense. When you have a threat at the running back position there are so many more things you can do on offense and it always keeps a defense having to guess. It is necessary to have running back that can average 100 rushing yards per game. When you do not have a running back who can get the job done it puts extra pressure on the quarterback to make plays over and over again at that point the defense will concentrate on defending the passing...
