I'm a husband and father living in the midwest. I spent the first twenty years, or so, of my career in the media. This included writing, directing and producing for print, radio and television. I've also done 'my time' in corporate communications writing more bullet points in trifold brochures than I care to recall! I also spent about five years teaching electronic media. Several years ago, I had what I assume was my almost mid-life crisis and switched to nonprofit work. So much for being in what is supposedly the higher earnings part of my career. I'm a person of reasonably strong faith and have a new blog where I hope to grow visitors who would like to share a perspective somewhere in the middle of the extremes. I love to write. I'm open to about any topic, although topics of faith, personal financial management and just about anything of humor are my favorite things to take a shot at. I look forward to interacting and learning from as many people here as possible.
