About me - Lynne Jablonski

About me

Some people have difficult birthdays, especially past 30 years of age. But at 42, my perspective is different. I look back, not in years, but in accomplishments. The crazy loops that life takes you on can create a wacky looking resume.

I am a professionally trained, college educated actress who spent 4 years traveling around the country on a bus doing a singing, dancing commercial for a cruise line. That eventually brought me to Alaska as a tour guide, an international tourism/hotel sales manager at a ski resort, and a winter sports enthusiast. Somewhere in there I got married, moved to an island in the Puget Sound, had babies, and started riding the ferries and writing. I found my way back to Alaska, family in tow, as a stay-at-home mom turned entrepreneur with a tour guide business, a would-be fundraising guru for a local school, and the owner of a new puppy.

Along the way, I have taken up horseback riding, pottery, knitting, quilting, been a movie extra, and more. I use my acting skills when the opportunies arise. I have sung at tourism events in many different states and abroad. I recently gave a private session/lesson in audition techniques. Life is busy and hectic, but I appreciate the ride!

They also need the participation of a loving adult early on, to ensure healthy separation and independence later on in their childhood play. As Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” A child’s innate sense of play is developed...
