I am a 34 year old, full time single father to an eight year old girl.
I am currently pursuing my BS degree in Criminal Justice. I only have one semester to complete, but I have to put it off for a while.
I love writing. Writing is a passion and a hobby of mine. I hope to have a book published one day. I currently have 280 pages ready. I would like to have at least 500 pages for my first book. I recently turned down a publishing contract from Publish America because they stood to benefit more from my work than I would have. I mainly like to write topics of Psychology, Psychiatry, Philosophy, self-help, and some creative writing. I also love to write essays on just about any topic.
I am a Veteran of the U.S. ARMY (1991 - 1993) and also a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, as my picture shows (1998 - 2000). I was an M1A1 Armor Crewman (Tanker) in the ARMY and an 0311 (Infantry/Rifleman) in the USMC. I loved every bit of my military service and I wish I would have stayed in.
I spend most of my time with my daughter. She is all that I have. I really enjoy helping her with her school work and doing father daughter stuff with her. I married her mother before she was born, I had just finished USMC boot camp. Shortly after my daughter was born my wife started to cheat on me. I could not get her to move from Ohio to North Carolina where I was stationed. It really hurt when I found out why. To make a long story short, my daughter's mother ended up giving her away to a complete stranger and then she moved across the country, I couldn't even find her to divorce her. I ended up leaving the USMC under Honorable conditions to take care of my family problems. It took me almost three months to track down and find my daughter. I now keep her close to me. She is a straight 'A' student and she is my pride and joy. We haven't seen or heard from her mother for almost five years and counting. I learned a hard lesson in life, and I shall never marry again. I have remained single for nearly seven years now. Relationships are over-rated.

THE PROBLEM SOLVER
No matter how big or how bad a problem may be, or if it looks like there is no solution for a particular problem, one must look for and work hard enough to find the solution for his or her problem for there is a solution to every problem.
