Hi.
I have been writing at home for years now and joined Helium last year. Most of the work I write at home is poetry for children, which is inspired by working in a day nursery. I've dabbled in short stories and other poems, and write in my journal daily. Writing is a passion to me and I wish I had time to pursue it more. In the meantime though, I have dared to submit a poem I recently wrote under the title 'Letting Go'.
The feeling that this site is going to prove extremely addictive, (now I have dared step into the world of submitting) is very strong and I love the idea that I can submit my work for constructive feedback from others more knowledgeable.
I'm really looking forward to throwing myself into my writing and submitting more in the coming weeks and months, as well as reading and rating other people's articles.
Thanks to all at Helium for providing such a wonderful site.

Each day we came, while you struggl...
