About me

With more than twenty five years of experience in the beauty industry, Loa Blasucci has made her mark in Hollywood as one of the top call makeup artists in the entertainment business. Whether on the silver screen, television, or in fashion magazines, such as GQ or Vanity Fair, she grooms A-list actors such as Tom Hanks, James Caan, Raquel Welch, Eugene Levy, Courtney Cox and Mathew McCaughnahey. She has recently created an 8 week program called Optimum Beauty, a health and wellness experience designed to make everyone look like a star and feel like an athlete. The fitness portion of the program is a one of a kind 75 minute mind & body sculpting class. Developed by Loa, the modalities utilized create the ultimate exercise and age reversing experience. She currently teaches this class at select venues in the Los Angeles area, including Equinox in Pasadena, along with The Barkley Center in The San Gabriel Valley. Loa is also a certified Sports Nutritionist and personal trainer who's clients range from professional athletes to housewives to actors. She has worked with men and women of all types in varying states of health. "I know every individual is beautiful in their own way. It is possible for anyone to look like a celebrity and feel like an athlete, you just have to get on the right path." Loa can also be heard on KRLA 870am every Saturday evening at 6:30pm as the host of "All Health's Breaking Loose," a half hour of fun and information on all aspects of health and beauty. Loa's newspaper column, also called "All Health's Breaking Loose," can be seen in the La Canada Valley Sun a division of the Los Angeles Times.
