I was born and raised in Toronto and spent almost 30 years there. I escaped to the middle of nowhere 14 years ago, the day the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series for the second time.

When something pisses me off I get passionate about it and don't shut up for a while.
When we first moved to the country from Toronto one of the things I liked doing with my three kids was going for drives and getting lost. Every time we came to an intersection, stop sign or side road we would all take turns picking which direction to go. Right, left or straight.
We've seen lots of deer, a couple of bears, three wolves, one moose and some elk. Some of the stranger things we've seen were a 15 foot statue of Yogi Bear at the end of a drive. My kids still remember Yogi and it's been 10 years since we've seen him.
