Listen to me the grown-up said At 9 o' clock, it's time for bed. Brush your teeth and say your prayers. Walk slowly and don't run up the stairs. Close your door and shut out the light. And don't forget to tell me goodnight. If you hear voises beside of your bed, Just pull up the blanket and cover your head. Whatever you do, don't make a peep. Close your eyes tightly and pretend your asleep. Wait just a minute, better make it two, Sooner or later that monster will get bored with you. He'll whine and complain and crawl back under the bed, Wondering outloudwas it something I said?
