I have completed a M.Ed. and Ph.D. in policy studies. I taught in the public education system for thirty years, specializing in working with troubled and disabled children, and retired at 56 years old. I have been writing and traveling.
I have published one Novel - "The Last Conspirator." It deals with Nazi War Criminals that came to live in Canada. It is a plot driven young adult novel that uses actual historical facts mixed with the fiction of tracking down a murderer. It is available on Amazon and Barns and Noble.
I am about to publish - "Frozen Tears." A novel that deals with the devastating consequences of child sexual abuse.
I am starting research on a self-help book for parents.
Smoking used to be one of the last things that a person could do in defiance of cultural or political pressures without the worry of being punished to any great extent. The smoker is now chastised to the point where there is even talk of outlawing the act in any public place. We are being forced into hiding deep in our closets, afraid to even let our doctors know that we are in fact smokers for fear that they will refuse to give us service because they are risk patients.
