I am a lifelong Santa Ana resident. I graduated from Santa Ana High in 1990 and received an AA degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Ana College. I went back to school later in life and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
I sometimes train in MMA/grappling and I am a blue belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. I am also a huge fan of pro wrestling! The actions of the religious right inspired me to become active in progressive causes, and I plan on being politically active in one way or another for the rest of my life.
Four years ago, I was what is known as a swing voter. I felt no loyalty to any political party or ideology, and was very proud of that at the time. However, I have always strongly opposed the politics of the religious right. In 2003, the actions of both talk radio and the religious right pushed me all the way to the left.
