It's 4:00 AM, and I have been writing for about 6 hours, a research piece on linguistics and derivation of common words. Not a light topic at all, but one I love.
I'm a researcher, and I live to relate what I have learned. For instance, were you aware of the fact that when writing in cursive, the words being written are being "cursed?" Sounds strange, maybe a bit archaic, but this form of writing was used by magicians to curse their enemies and bad luck.
It's the idea of a continuous hieroglyph.

It seems that people these days are content to watch "American Idol" and "Entertainment Tonight" on television rather than actually learn anything.
