: About Me

My name is Vickie Obara and I am 62 years old and I love to write and tell stories to people. I graduated in 1967 and took a job in retail, but secretly wanted to be a writer. I got married and had children and they they grew up and I found myself with time on my hands ,so I took a course in writing for children. I finished the course but never seemed to find the time or money to write full time.
I still wrote stories but then they were put away and now after so many years have found a place to start fresh and I am really excited about helium. I just want the chance to write and have people read the stories.I have a little problem with my heart and my legs are a pain from all ther years on cement floors,so I am trying to find something where I can work from home. It would be a dream come true, because writing is important to me and I really do love it. So until I get my chance at writing i will enjoy writing stories and articles for helium. Thanks for the chance to live my dream.

to help others enjoy reading again.and hopefully to help others live their dreams.

bible, civil war books, good over evil, how jesus loves me.

dept. store and for 30 yrs. after.
